Correction of a severely deformed nail using a nail brace

The client came in with a significantly curved toenail. The cause was repeated traumatization of the nail and inappropriate footwear.

🔹 The nail was first professionally treated – corroded tissue was removed and prepared for fixation.
🔹 We then applied titanium braces, which gradually adjusted the direction of growth.
🔹 The client was also given clear recommendations for home care and appropriate footwear to prevent the problem from recurring.

After just a few weeks, it was obvious that the shape of the nail was changing and gradually flattening out.
